I hired Eric as my personal trainer in September 2017. I have an athletic background but had not worked out in years so I was very depressed about my weight and personal appearance. I was looking for, not only for a personal trainer, but for a professional that understood what I was going through and could help encourage me and keep me motivated to stick with the sessions to meet my goals. Eric and I began working together 2-3x’s per week and my progression and strength have improved dramatically. I worked through Eric’s beginner program and now I’m on a more specific program that I will get a reward at the end of the training. Since September my appearance has changed drastically. I’ve lost 50 lbs and the weight training has kept me from having a lot of flab from the weight loss. I’m glad I chose Eric to be a part of my fitness team and will continue to work with him on this long-term journey.

I selected Eric as my personal trainer based upon his 5-star reviews on Thumbtack. After my initial session with Eric, I was confident he could help me reach my personal goals- becoming stronger and improving my overall health & diet. Picking a trainer can be scary because you are relying on them in more ways than one. Eric is very responsive to all of my questions, he is always punctual/prepared, and patient while I learn different forms and techniques. The sessions are always different (which I love) and a great mix of movements for a full body workout. I know I am getting stronger and I know I will be a long-term client!

Great response time. Totally understanding and knowledgeable of lower abdomen/pelvic floor issues. His experience has been crucial in helping me gain significantly more core strength (after multiple c sections) without tearing myself to shreds in the process. Eric is the first trainer I have ever worked with but I don’t think I could have picked a better one. He makes you work hard, constantly adapting a sessions workout and helping you break boundaries. Being a Marine I have always always been able to push myself and overcome pain but Eric has helped me take it to a level I didn’t know I could reach. I found Eric Greenley through Thumbtack online. He was one of the first trainers to contact me, almost immediately. I gave him a call and set up our fitness evaluation. He was very personable and professional on the phone and I hung up excited for our first session. Unfortunately, my child care fell though and he was very understanding, we rescheduled the following week. My fitness evaluation alone, was very educational (Eric knows his stuff!) I didn’t feel overwhelmed or intimidated, and I knew this guy was going to get me the results I was after. Following our evaluation I met with a couple other trainers to make sure I found the right fit. I chose Eric because he wasn’t cocky, had the credentials I was looking for, and was very easy to talk to. I knew we’d make a great team. He didn’t make me feel like he was a know it all, I was very much looking forward to learning more from him.
We are a couple weeks in and I am already seeing results. I look forward to our sessions two times a week. He pushes me to try new things and I always leave feeling amazing! I am learning so much and gaining the strong, lean muscles that I was looking for. Thank you Eric! I highly recommend his services.

I began working with Eric just a little less than a month ago after a few years off, shall we say. 😉 Found him here on a Thumbtack – which I had never used before! I have had two other trainers in the past. Both were very good but relocated. So I do have a little bit of knowledge and a basis for comparison. Simply put, Eric is fantastic and I hope to be able to work with him for a long time to come. Here are a few things that make him someone you should definitely consider if you are looking for a trainer! Some of his folks have been with him 15+ years and I can see why!

Eric is a great communicator. He was very detailed and fast when I reached out to him on Thumbtack and followed up with me exactly when he said he would. He is always on time and well prepared. I love that he is easy to reach and very responsive.

Scheduling with him is easy and he doesn’t switch times and days like I have seen with my others in the past. He works around me which is awesome. He is the most organized I’ve seen- tracks the sessions with you and asks for you to rate how the session went at the end, every time, so he can design the next one based on your feedback.

When I am working out he is a great teacher and focuses on form, coaching me along and giving me great tips and tricks. He quickly learned what motivates me and provides just the right balance of encouragement and kind words, letting me set the pace sometimes but also pushing me well beyond what I could make myself do on my own.

You know training is hard to get started. It can sometimes be hard to tell someone you just met how you are ashamed of a beer gut LOL, but I immediately felt comfortable with Eric to be honest about what I wanted to work on and what I wanted to change.

What I’ve noticed so far is that he focuses on me as an individual and has designed my workout program to be tailored to my needs. There is good variety from one session to the next, and I feel like I’ve worked out hard when I’m done.

He wants to see me succeed and gives me doable homework for weekends and when I go on business trips to keep me on pace.

He treats me like a real person, not a customer. He is passionate about fitness, high energy, enthusiastic and has a great personality, funny and with great stories and I genuinely look forward to the next work out session.

I don’t write reviews often but I wanted to share my thoughts . Eric is awesome!

I have never worked with a personal trainer before, and my experience with Eric has been more than I could have hoped for – simply wonderful! He is personable, trustworthy, and knowledgable. He tailors workouts to you – your abilities, your preferences, and your goals. Admittedly, I was very nervous to start working with a trainer, but after a telephone call with him and within the first few minutes of meeting Eric, I knew he was the real deal and could help me reach my fitness goals. My husband and I hired Eric to be our personal trainer. We both HATE working out but thought we would give it one more try. Before we even got started Eric went over our health history and insisted I check with my doctor to find out how much resistance training would be safe for me.
